What is the idea behind this site?
The website takes a look at the stand-up comedy greats from Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor to Louie CK and Jon Stewart. More to the point, it wouldn't be about the comedians themselves so much as the art form examined by looking at the styles of the comedians, if that makes any sense.
Why am I making this site?
To explore a personal interest that interests a lot of other people as well. And on another note, looking at the styles and techniques employed by the best could be very helpful to working on my own material.
Who is my audience and who am I?
The people I am interested in are people like myself who are fans of stand-up and other forms of comedy and are curious about the evolution of this unique art form.
What are the objectives of this site?
To inform and inspire other nobodies like me.
What kind of information will be on this site?
I'm thinking the most relevant infromation relating to the most influential/notable comedians generally organized by time or generation.
